Weight Trainign to Burn Fat and Lose Weight

Weight loss has become the primary objective of those who are going to the gym. They want to lose weight and they want it NOW. Weight lifting is good for weight loss, because it builds your muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns many more times the calories of the equivalent amount of fat even at rest. Read my review on turbulence training for advanced weight training routines.

Weight training also helps you tone your existing muscle. If you do the right exercises then you will be able to trim your waist line, broaden your shoulders, lift and tighten your butt, and tone your thighs and broaden your chest. Weight training provides an additional short term increase in metabolic rate after the workout, called “excess post exercise oxygen consuption” or EPOC for short. It’s a myth that “all exercise” keeps you burning calories for hours after the workout. Weight training whilst cutting, must remain intense. You will be able to continue to train hard as your calorie intake will not be mega low and you’ll be including regular carbohydrates.

How to Burn More Fat With 3 Intense Exercises

Although there are claims that there is no magic exercise to burn more fat really fast, there are certain exercises or movements that are better than others when it comes to boosting metabolism and burning body fat. These exercises are called compound or multi joint exercises since these movements target several muscle groups at the same time by simply targeting major muscle groups.

Example: a pushup claims to work the chest muscles, but at doing so will work your shoulders, arms, back and abdominals at the same time. Such exercises are better than doing isolated chest exercises like a dumbbell fly.

However, there are 3 exercises that work the entire body in one single movement and thus prove to be more metabolically favorable than other examples. These go by the name of Swings, Snatches and Dead lifts. These can be performed by using dumbbells, kettle bells and a barbell in the case of dead lifts. These high intense movements will help you get six pack abs much faster than any other exercise due to the nature of the movements that target all the fibers on your body. Burn Stomach Fat - Impossible

There is reason to believe that spot reduction is not possible so burning stomach fat alone is not a deal that can be found anywhere other than at hospitals who offer liposuction. That is a whole different level of fat loss. Burning stomach fat comes in a package deal which claims that if you really want to get flat abs, you need to lose your attention on your belly and start focusing more towards your total body fat. As you gradually reduce your body fat, you will automatically burn stomach fat as well. This is why I call it the package deal.

It is not that hard to lose body fat although it could take some time. It doesn’t mean doing 1000’s of crunches a day or spending 2 hours on the treadmill daily. It means focusing more towards short intense workout routines that focus on compound body movements like squats, Deadlifts, pull ups, chin ups, push ups etc…

These exercises target all the major and minor muscle groups at the same time so do more of these exercises in the 45 to 60 minute period and you will definitely create a huge spike in metabolism than you would be doing single arm curls and sit ups… Read my review on Turbulence Training to get a variety of short intense workout routines.

Lose Fat and Gain Muscle

Although many trainers claim that you cannot lose fat and gain muscle at the same time, I have reason to believe that you CAN achieve both objectives although one aspect of the results will be more focused upon.

When you focus on gaining more muscle, you tend to lose a certain level of fat while doing so because of the increase in level of metabolism and calorie expenditure created by building more muscle mass.

When you focus on losing fat (the RIGHT WAY!), you focus on compound total body exercises that create a huge spike in metabolism while developing lean muscle tissue at the same time. So do not simply fall for the myth that you CAN’T lose fat and gain muscle. Working out and eating smart will help you achieve both goals easily. Read my review on the Truth About Building Muscle for more information.
